Krzysztof Karnicki MD, PhD Director Hematology Research

Dr. Karnicki received his training at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN and at the Wroclaw Medical University in Poland. He has been a involved in hematology research at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN for the past 13 years. Dr. Karnicki has designed all hematology research required for development of the CloSys HD. He directed and monitored the European clinical trial and during preclinical work, he functioned as the surgeon and interventionalist. He is responsible for training and proctoring physicians participating in the clinical trial. Dr. Karnicki is the author of 15+ papers and 20+ abstracts and presentations related to his interest in thrombosis management.
